Project Details

The Harbor’s residential program teaches teenaged orphans how to live life successfully on their own and in a normal family setting. It does this by providing a small family residential setting, in an average apartment building, with mentors who live with them 24/7. The orphans are taught necessary life skills, educated, and given counselling and spiritual formation.

Providing a new refrigerator for the girls’ residence is necessary because the one they currently have is small and sometimes breaks down. The kitchen and the refrigerator are the center of the home; having a functioning refrigerator is essential to maintaining a sense of normalcy, something The Harbor’s participants need.
