Project Details

VEC desire to construct a soccer field and volleyball court for use by students attending its boarding school. Currently, the children do not have an adequate place to exercise or play. The fields will be used for organized matches as well as open playing, and will help develop bonds between the children.

It is difficult to find level ground in the Himalayas, which are often called “The Roof of the World.” VEC plans to employ local workers to flatten nearby fields and turn them into viable athletic grounds. The cost of the project will cover this labor, two soccer goals, sand for the volleyball court, and several balls.
