Project Details

This project will provide for the purchase, assembly and delivery of a food package to a needy family in Ukraine. The social support many people receive in Ukraine is very small so many times they are forced to go without food for periods of time while waiting for government or other support. Providing even a small amount of food to these people will support them until they can get their own means to eat.Local aid organization Helping Hands will have a team member deliver the food which will also help us to evaluate the situation of the family and in some cases provide counseling, emotional support or help in financial planning.  The $55 called for by this project provides for a food package that will feed a family of four 5 nutritional meals.
