Outsider Oversight Policy

WideAwake.org is committed to the highest standards of transparency and accountability in our own practices as well as those of our Affiliates. As many on our team have seen firsthand, the occurrence of fraud and abuse is an unfortunate reality in the non-profit sector, especially in international organizations. Not only are we aware of these realities, we are committed to combating them in our own standards and practices. If you have a concern about WideAwake.org or an Affiliate organization, we urge you to report it immediately.

If you feel that the concern represents a serious problem, you may also choose to report the issue to a third-party consultant at WideAwakeConsultant@gmail.com. If the consultant determines the problem to be minor, he/she may report it to WideAwake.org management along with recommendations for its correction. If, however, the problem is indeed significant, he/she is obliged to report the matter to the relevant authorities for investigation.
