Aid organization Zimbabwe, A National Emergency (ZANE) supports those in need in the desperately poor southern African nation of Zimbabwe, with a focus on helping the elderly.   The organization supports hundreds of pensioners in nursing homes, hospitals and private residences across the country, paying for their care and helping to meet their medical and emotional needs.  ZANE runs its operations out of its humble office in the capital city of Harare, and is in need of a new telephone to keep up its programs.  

The telephone ZANE currently uses at its offices is in disrepair - it rarely works properly, severly hampering ZANE's ability to carry out its functions.  The elderly population of Zimbabwe is disadvantaged because of this.  For just $35 you can provide a new phone for ZANE, directly contributing to the organization's capacity to better serve those in need.  ZANE will purchase the phone within two weeks of this project being fully funded.
